Such a funny, sassy, rom-com.
“Did you know that a man’s lips are the same color as the head of his d***?”
When they book starts with this line, I know its going to be a good one.
When Penny had her heart broken right after high school, she swore off relationships. She still had plenty of men in her life, but she used the 3 date rule. No more than 3 dates because after that feelings get involved and she wants nothing to do with that.
While eating ice cream with her roommates one day, she see this hot guy in the ice cream line. Something about him looks familiar but she can’t place it. Later that evening she runs into him again at a bar. They talked and she realized they went to high school together. She doesn’t remember a Bodie from high school but that was because he went by a nickname and looks totally different now. She ends up going home with him that night.
She knows after that first time together, that this could end badly. She knows she has to protect herself and she tells him that she doesn’t do relationships. He seems cool with it and but what she doesn’t know is that he is anything but cool with it.
Bodie has always had a crush on Penny and when a second chance comes along, he will do what he has to do to be with her.
But when feelings get involved, can Penny get past her relationship issues or will they end up tearing her and Bodie apart.
This was such a fun read. Penny is sassy and strong and sticks to her guns. Bodie is so sweet and who doesn’t love a hot surfer dude.
I would defiantly recommend this book to someone else!
