What do you get when you mix the two? One heck of a story!!!
Brooke is the mom of twins and doing everything on her own. She has her sister Julia to help her but she has basically been on her own with her kids since day one. When she needs to last minute babysitter, Brooke is expecting Julia to show up, not Michael, a family friend who has quite a reputation.
Michael knows what it is like to grow up with a single mom, so when he hears Brooke needs a babysitter, he volunteers. What he doesn’t realize is that him volunteering is going to set off a chain of events that will change everything.
When Michael starts helping Brooke build an in-home salon so she can work from home, their relationship starts to change. They are both attracted to each other, anyone with eyes can see that. So they set rules that will help them keep their distance from each other and stay just friends.
Can they be around each other every day without feelings developing?
Can Brooke let go of her controlling ways and ask her help when it is needed?
Can Michael get over his commitment issues?
What happens when there is a misunderstanding that could ruin everything?

I loved Michael and Brooke’s story.
Michael has a huge heart even though he tries to hide it. He will do anything for anyone and is very protective over those he cares about.
Brooke is such a strong woman. Raising two kids on her own is tough but she is doing it and kicking butt at it.
Michael and Brooke have such a fun, flirty story. I really enjoyed it.
There were times when I laughed and times when I wanted to cry. I love an author who can tap into multiple emotions in one book.
