Men seem to see her curvy hips, large breasts and thick thighs and automatically think she is incompetent. Because surely a fat girl couldn’t get the job treating some of the most fit and athletic men in the world, right?
Wrong.
This fat girl got the job, and she is proud of it.

Who doesn’t love a hot, tattooed, bearded baseball player with a nice butt? I know I do.
Hancock is a cocky, smoking hot baseball player who plays for the Texas Lumberjacks. He has a rough exterior but underneath, he has a really good heart.
Sway is the athletic trainer for the Texas Lumberjacks. She has worked really hard to get where she is and she will not anyone stand in her way.
Hancock as an instant attraction to Sway. He loves that she has curves and isn’t afraid to show them off. Sway has always had a crush on Hancock, but she is too scared to get close to him. Why would he want her when he can have any woman in the world?
So…… what do you get when you mix a smoking hot baseball player with a sexy athletic trainer, some baseball superstitions and a jealous co-worker? You get an amazing baseball book!!
And as I watched her that night and during the next day, I realized that I was falling in love with this woman hard and fast. It was a feeling that hit me like that fastball straight to my throat. I couldn’t breathe, and I wasn’t sure I would ever be the same again.
I loved this book.
Sway and Hancock have a very interesting relationship. The back and forth banter between them is great!!! She doesn’t take his shit and he likes that about her.
Sway is a strong woman. She stands up for herself and when she can’t, Hancock stands up for her, even when he doesn’t have too.
Of course, in Lani Lynn Vale fashion, there has to be at least one moment in the book that makes our heart stop and trust me, you will know when you get to that point. Actually, there were two moments in this book that made my heart stop. (Damn you Lani)
And, it wouldn’t be a Lani book if she didn’t add the military, or public service in there somehow. (That’s one reason I love her books so much.)
I love Lani and I can’t wait to see where she takes this series.
