My Review:

4 Stars 

Merit lives with a very interesting family.

Her mother, who recently fought cancer, lives in the basement.

Her father married her mother’s former nurse.

She has a twin sister who is perfect and nothing like her.

Her older brother does no wrong.

The only person she likes is her 4 year old half-brother.

And to top it all off, she lives in a repurposed church with a giant Jesus statue.

 

 

Merit’s family has a lot of secrets and they tell a lot of lies. When Merit gets tired of all the secrets and lies, she lets them all out. She tells everything she knows. Everything her family members don’t know about each other. But what Merit didn’t think about was the aftermath of telling everyone secrets.

She didn’t think about who would be hurt when the secrets got out.

 

 

When Merit feels all alone, two random people enter her life, Sagan and Luck. Luck is an odd duck and Sagan is a boy who she secretly starts to fall in love with. These two will help Merit find her way and they will help her discover who she really is.

I just want to say that I love Colleen Hoover and her books. I have never read a Colleen book that I didn’t like. I liked this book. It was a good read, but for me it wasn’t a 5 star read. But I will defiantly read more Colleen in the future.
