My Review:

3 1/2 stars

I really enjoy Callie Harpers work. I loved the All In Series, it is one of my favorites. When saw this new book coming out, I jumped at the chance to read it.

The was a good story.

Olivia is an innocent young woman. She’s quiet and keeps to herself. When someone comes after her because of something someone else did, she ends up needing a hero. What she doesn’t expect to get is Knox.

Knox is an ex-Navy Seal. He is working for some not so great people. When a simple job takes a turn, Knox find himself saving an innocent woman. What he doesn’t realize is how this woman is going to change his life.

She shouldn’t be attracted to him. He did kidnap her, but he is also saved her. As time goes on, feeling emerge.

But what will Knox do when Olivia’s life is in danger. Will he be able to save her or will he feelings for her get her killed?

 

The reason I gave this book 3 1/2 stars is because I had a hard time connecting with this book. I”m not saying this is a bad book, because it’s not, I’m just saying that I just couldn’t get really into it. I can’t pinpoint a reason why I couldn’t get into it. I just couldn’t.

Not saying someone else won’t love this book, but for me it was just okay.
