This is my first blog of 2018 and I am so excited to see what 2018 holds when it comes to the world of books.
There are so many awesome release coming out this year by amazing authors. I think 2018 will be a great read in the book world.
As a blogger, I am here to help promote books. I love to help authors get their names out into the world.
I love to read, so blogging about books just makes since to me.
I do have a very busy life being a wife, a mom, a teacher, and also making book sleeves on the side, but I always make time to read.
Soooooo…… Here are some new releases for 2018 and few that come out and the end of 2017.
New Releases (Last 30 days or so):
Book 8 in the Steele Brothers was AMAZING!!!! I luckily read an ARC of this book and Helen did no disappoint!!! This story is so much more than a love story. You follow three brothers as they try and figure out why a terrible event in their past happen. This series is full of twists and turn and surprises.
Twisted (Dec 26th) (My Review)
Blurb: Ryan Steel, his world recently upended by an earth-shattering secret, now faces yet another potential revelation surrounding the Steel family mystery. He no longer fully trusts his siblings or the woman he loves. He’s alone—alone and terrified and immersed in a conundrum that becomes more twisted each day.
Ruby Lee loves Ryan and desperately wants to help him. She’ll do whatever she must to see him through this troubling time, but her own shrouded past still haunts her, and she’s determined to put an end to both of their mysteries once and for all. But the more she uncovers, the more danger she’s in…and she may lose Ryan forever.
What the Hail – Lani Lynn Vale
As with every Lani book I read, she always keeps me on my toes. You never know what is going to happen in her book. What the Hail is a great story about Baylor and Lark. They have amazing banter, a great story, but they also have their fair share of hardships.
What the Hail (Dec 14th) (My Review)
He’s wanted her since he repossessed her car and made her cry.
Baylor Hail knew two things. One, he hated crying females. Two, it was even worse when he was the one to make that female cry.
He never meant to do anything but his job, but when one thing leads to another, suddenly all he can think about is the broken woman whose car he towed.
She’s wanted him since he patted her back and told her it was okay to cry even though she knew he was lying.
Nothing ever goes right for Lark.
Not when she got married. Not when she tried to leave her abusive husband, and not when she arrived in a new town with a fresh, clean slate.
That clean slate came courtesy of a secret organization that specializes in helping abused women find a way out. They set her up with a whole new life. It just turns out that it happened to be right smack dab in the middle of another woman’s old one.
That woman also happens to be down on her luck, something that Lark learns the hard way when on her first day there, her car is towed by a handsome stranger.
It’s been two years since she’s felt any kind of sexual attraction toward a man, and she reacts badly. We’re talking full-on, hysterical breakdown as he loads her car onto his tow truck while looking at her like she’s lost it.
Maybe being crazy isn’t all that bad.
The next thing she knows, she’s spending time with the sexy stranger and life couldn’t be better—even though she still doesn’t have a car.
She thinks she’s in the clear, that she’s got it all figured out… well, that is until her ex-husband finds her again.
Now the ball is in her sexy stranger’s court as he decides whether or not her kind of crazy is worth getting killed over.
Turns out, for Baylor Hail, maybe it is.
Ex-Rated Attraction – K. Webster
This is a short, sexy, kind of taboo read but it is GREAT!!!
I liked Caleb.
I like his dad more.
Miles Reynolds sent shocks through me the very first time I met him. With his full beard and sculpted ass, he’s every inch a heroic, powerful Greek god.
He saved me from a bad situation and now he’s all I can think of. Every minute of every hour of every day, I want that man.
He’s warned me away, says I can’t handle what he has to give.
But I know better.
Miles is exactly what I need—now, then and forever.
Torrid Little Affair – Kendall Ryan
I have not read this book but Kendall’s books are always sexy and fun and they never disappoint.
The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. And I have the perfect candidate all picked out.
My new assistant is tempting beyond belief with her curvy body and take-no-shit attitude. All those luscious curves, and a juicy ass I’m already in love with. God, the things that I would do to that ass…
But it’s the haunted look in her eyes that speaks to me. Like she’s taken just as much shit in her past as I have—maybe more. We both deserve a little fun.
Love can’t fix everything. Mind-blowing sex and a few killer orgasms, on the other hand?
I have a feeling those might do the trick.
Behind the Bars – Brittainy C. Cherry
Brittainy C. Cherry always know show to touch your heart and from what I have heard, this book does that.
When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.
I was the awkward musician, and she was the high school queen.
The only things we had in common were our music and our loneliness.
Something in her eyes told me her smile wasn’t always the truth.
Something in her voice gave me a hope I always wished to find.
And in a flash, she was gone.
Years later, she was standing in front of me on a street in New Orleans.
She was different, but so was I. Life made us colder. Harder. Isolated.
Even though we were different, the broken pieces of me recognized the sadness in her.
Now she was back, and I wouldn’t make the mistake of letting her go again.
When I first met Jasmine Greene, she came in as raindrops.
When we met again, I became her darkest storm.
Up Coming Releases:
This is the last book in the Steel Brothers Saga. This is one of my favorite sagas. You need to read all the books in order to understand the story, but trust me, once you start reading book one….you will not want to stop. I can not wait for this release.
Blurb: Ryan Steel and Ruby Lee are in love, but before they can move forward with a life together, they’re determined to bring resolution to the many unanswered questions they still face. To complicate matters, new threats arise with the arrival of two startling figures from their pasts.
As they race against time to find answers, unexpected forces pull them apart. Ryan’s brothers, Talon and Jonah, rally to help, wanting to end the struggle and finally bring the last perpetrators to justice. But another riddle surfaces, deepening the rift between Ruby and Ryan. Will they salvage their relationship and finally unravel the mysteries surrounding them?
The Hail You Say- Lani Lynn Vale
I have luckily already read this book and let me tell you, IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!
You will love Reed and Krisney’s story. It is a story that will have you laughing and crying. It is a story of loving and losing and having second chances.
You do not want to miss this read!!!
He yelled those words at the love of his life twelve years ago, and to this day, Reed Hail regrets them. He’s always been the type of person to speak before he thinks, and apologies have never come easy.
It’s been over a decade since she was his, and he stubbornly thinks that he can keep on living without her.
He couldn’t be more wrong.
The last thing he needs is her vagina anywhere near his exam table. But nobody ever asks him what he wants.
Maybe he should’ve gone into the auto-recovery business after all.
I hate you.
Krisney Shaw would take those words back in a heartbeat if she could. In fact, she would take back everything.
Never meeting him would be the perfect place to start. The memory of Reed Hail haunts her—morning, noon, and night.
Then, to add insult to injury, she has to see him being happy while she’s breaking a little more inside every single day.
Reed Hail is her worst nightmare because she’s constantly reminded of exactly what she’s missing—the other half of her soul.
Just when she thinks things can’t get worse, she’s sees his sexy, bearded face over the top of her paper gown, and she’s lost all over again.
Don’t ever let me go.
Both Reed and Krisney are determined to avoid each other. They do a great job of it, too…not.
One ill-timed gynecological exam changes everything. One single second in time shows Reed what he’s missing—literally and figuratively—and suddenly he’s back at square one.
The only problem with being back at square one? He won’t be able to leave her a second time.
Especially since the first time around he didn’t have a child with her to consider.
I am currently reading this ARC and I am IN LOVE WITH IT!!! You have three main POV’s in this book, Tyler, Casey, and Torin. I am 40% into this book and it was already captured my heart. I can’t wait to finish it.
I’m a freak, a misfit, an odd end.
Abandoned and unloved.
But my happiness is so close I can taste it.
Until he shows up.
Gorgeous, expensive, and all man.
Sad brown eyes and a brilliant smile.
And he wants me to go with him.
His intentions are hidden.
His motives are unclear.
Yet, I leave with him because there’s no happiness here.
What he promises feels too good to be true…
A castle. A fortune. And horses too.
It’s too easy.
Nothing in my life has ever been easy.
What’s the catch?
There’s always a catch.
This is book 5 in the Bachelors of the Ridge Series. Each book is about a different friend and their look for love. I have loved every book in this series, especially Cole (My Review).
There’s one thing you should know about Tristan Whitfield: he’s been in love with Anna for years.
There are two problems with that: she has no idea, and she’s married. Or at least, she was.
Anna Callahan knows three things about her brother’s friend, Tristan: he’s quiet, incredibly handsome, and has a smolder that could set the room on fire.
For years, it wasn’t difficult for Anna to overlook all of that. But when Tristan is the solution to a work problem that could derail her career, he is anything but easy to ignore.
To Tristan, the fact that the object of his affection is suddenly single means he should tread lightly. Be the friend she needs until she’s ready for more and hope the risk pays off.
Because it’ll add up to the one thing he wants: her.
Most Likely To Score – Lauren Blakley
I have read Lauren in the past and have loved her books. They are always funny and sexy and I am excited to see what this book has in store of the readers.
It should have been a simple play…
She needed a football player to step up and be the star for a charity calendar. I needed a sharp and savvy publicist to manage a brand-new sponsorship deal. I scratched her back. She scratched mine. And oh hell, did Jillian ever drag her nails down my back on one hell of a hot night. Okay fine, it was several hot nights on the road.
Now we’re back in town and it’s time to set the play clock back to when we were simply player and publicist. Given the way the last few years have gone, I can’t risk this deal, so it’s hands off for us once again. Trouble is, I want more than than just another night with her.
What’s a guy to do when he’s always been most likely to score, but the woman he’s falling for is just out of bounds?
I don’t date players. And I definitely don’t sleep with players. And I absolutely don’t fall for a certain player when I get to know him and learn he’s more than just sexy — he’s clever, funny and has a heart as big as his . .. well, you get my drift.
But my job is at stake, and I can’t afford to lose that as well as my heart. The problem is, I think I’ve already lost that game.
What’s a girl to do when the clock is running out, but the man she’s falling for is off limits?
There are always so many great sounding books coming out! My TBR is never ending.

I sense a pattern 😉
Behind the Bars is on my list. I’ve heard so many good things about it!
Ooh these look great! Going to be adding more than a few to my massive TBR 🙂
