This is complete standalone novel, but if you have read Clandestine you will see some familiar faces. 

Grant and Bridget meet one night in a club. Everything is going great until the end of the night when Grant up and leave her high and dry. Why? Bridget had no idea.

Thinking she will never have to see him again, she goes to work at her new job she got from a temp agency and guess who she see….Grant.

What is even worse….Grant is a Lancaster. He just so happens to be the brother of her sister’s boyfriend and there is a lot of bad blood in the Lancaster family.

Bridget knows she needs this job though, so she decides to put her feelings aside. She also decides to not tell her sister who she is working for because she doesn’t need anymore drama in her life.

What you think is going to be a typical office romance is anything but.

Grant holds a secret that will change everything. A secret that could not only tear him apart, but could ruin Bridget’s image before she even gets started as a professional.

What happens when feelings start to grow but you know they can never go anywhere?

Can you push those feelings aside to do the job you need to do or will those feelings destroy you?

This was a good book. I think the character development was solid and it wasn’t just your typical office romance.

I can’t wait to see that Ava comes up with next.
