Red Flags…

Too loud.
Too clingy.
Too much make-up.

I could go on and on. The other guys in the Single Dad’s Club would say I’m obsessed with finding them. But none of their kid’s mothers call a maximum-security prison home either, so their opinions mean shit.

Caterina Santora has her own list of red flags…

She’s too young.
She’s my client’s daughter.
She’s my five-year old’s camp counselor.

Even after repeating this mantra to myself every morning on the way to Lily’s summer camp, guess what happens the moment I see Cat? Yeah, that mantra turns into ride me, doggie style and reverse cowgirl.

Every. Damn. Time.

The fact that she doesn’t remember me from six years before grates on me until I don’t have it in me to leave her alone any longer. I have to have her. But our lives are opposites in every way. In no way compatible.

When we’re together all the complications fade away and I have to keep reminding myself, even if I can have her— I can’t keep her.

My Review: 4 stars

Marcus: is a single dad to a five-year-old daughter named Lily. Lily is going to a summer camp for single parents. One of Marcus’s clients owns the summer camp and his daughter, Caterina, will be a counselor there this year. Marcus has not seen Caterina in six years and the last time they saw each other it didn’t and very well.

Caterina (Cat): knew that when she decided to work at the summer camp, there was a chance she would run into Marcus. But what she didn’t realize was she would be his daughter’s counselor.

The first time Marcus and Cat see each other, Cat denies knowing who he is. It takes some time and a few apologies but Marcus and Cat finally start to get along and build a very unconventional relationship. But it’s not all sunshine and roses.

Lily keeps asking questions about her mother and Marcus is not ready to answer those. Cat is supposed to leave in September and move to New York, so Marcus struggles with if he should have a relationship with her and what that would do to Lily. Marcus is also struggling to get over issues from his past.

Will Marcus be able to get over his issues? Or will they ultimately be too much for him to handle? Will he end up pushing Cat away, when all she wants to do is be there for him?

I really enjoyed Cat and Marcus’s book. I feel like there was just the right amount of smut and just the right amount of a good struggle between the hero and the heroin. I loved watching them progress through the story, and I love the roll Lily played in the story.

I did see where this says it’s book one in a series, so I’m hoping that Garrett and Dane will each get their own book. And when it comes to Dane’s book, the ending of this book kind of had a spoiler for it. Maybe a book about Dana and Ava?

Turn-ons…

Party girls.
Platinum blondes.
Zero expectations.

I used to think that if you could combine all three into one female, you’d have the perfect woman. The other guys in the Single Dads Club razz me for wearing the crown of the forever bachelor. The one who’ll be in his seventies chasing down young hotties in his wheelchair.

Then why the hell does Ava Pearson—an outdoorsy girl, a brunette, and a woman who screams stability and responsibility—seem to be the only woman on my mind lately?

Especially when I’ve got enough obligations without adding any complications to the mix—my son, my bar…well, that’s about it. But that’s enough for a guy like me.

It’s the cupcakes. It’s gotta be the cupcakes she bakes that keep me coming back for more. After all, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right? Well, it’s apparently a direct target to his dick, too.

Did I forget to mention that she’s my buddy’s daughter…another member’s daughter?

Ava might say she can handle being friends-with-benefits, but I’m not sure she can. Unfortunately for her, I’m too selfish of a prick to care—until I do.

My Review: 5 stars

Dane is a single dad who plays the field but never commits. Ava is the new baker across the street. Months ago they had a one night stand. And then Dane found out who her dad was.

After fighting and bickering and having extreme sexual tension, they decided to be “friends with benefits”, cause that always ends well…..not!!!

When feeling start to get involved, someone is going to get hurt. Will it be Ava, will her heart get broken? Will it be Dane, will he lose what he never realized he had?

I loved Dane and Ava’s story. The back and forth between them was great. They both have so much personality. Plus the sexy time was GREAT!!!!

Can’t wait for the next book. Garrett and Charlie for the next book??? I hope so!!!!!

It’s time.

Time to get a life.
Time to start over.
Time to move beyond the past.

The guys in the Single Dads Club would tell you it was time years ago, but until recently, the risk of hurting my little girl outweighed the benefit of getting a piece of ass.

Now that I have a tween daughter on my hands? It’s becoming more apparent with every poster hung on the wall, every fight over wearing make-up and every uncomfortable conversation about puberty, that at least one of us needs a female touch in our lives.

Jesus. I can’t even think the words ‘female touch’ without thinking of her.
Charlotte Rose. Charlie.

She’s everything I shouldn’t want, but someone needs to tell that to my damn libido because every time she’s around I have a constant case of blue balls.

There’s a list of reasons why I shouldn’t give into what I feel—she’s my best friend’s little sister, she’s seen me at my most vulnerable, and the biggest one—she’s the first person in twelve years who has the potential to break me.

My Review: 4 stars

I really enjoyed Garrett’s story. I’ve been wanting to know more about him and this book answered all those questions.
Charlie has always liked Garrett. Since she was little, he has always caught her eye. Now she’s grown and she is determined to show him that she is not just his best friends little sister anymore, that’s she’s a woman.
Garrett is a closed book. His wife died 12 years ago and he was left to raise his daughter on his own. Now, he’s going through life alone. He says she doesn’t want a relationship. He can’t handle losing someone again.
Charlie pushes all of Garrett’s buttons.
Garrett starts to let his guard down.
What happened when Garrett thinks Charlie has betrayed him?
Will he lose her forever when he finds out the truth?
I really liked Garrett and Charlie’s story. I think Charlie was perfect for Garrett because he needed someone to push him out of this comfort zone.
I can’t wait for Vance’s story.
