My Review:

This is a dark story. You have been warned.

Koyn…. I wanted to hate him. I really did.
He was a mean man. A dangerous man.
But he hadn’t always been like that.
When Koyn’s family was killed 10 years ago, he vowed to get revenge.

Hadley…poor Hadley.
My heart broke for her.
She went from a terrible home to a terrible MC and then to be kidnapped by another MC.

Koyn wanted to hate Hadley.
He wanted to make her hurt.
He wanted to get his revenge on her.
But he couldn’t. Or at least he couldn’t as much as he wanted to.

He felt like he had to protect her.
He felt like he needed to keep her safe.
But he also felt like he needed to punish her.

Koyn and Hadley will be hot and cold thoughout the book.

But what happened when Koyn gets everything wrong?
What happens when he give her back to enemy?

Will he be able to save her?
Does he want to save her?
Will he ever understand things from her side?

UGHHHHHH!!!!!!
This book made me want to pull my hair out at times.

Koyn, I really wanted to hate him.
I hated some of the decisions he made.
I hated some of the things he said.
But he was hurting. Hurting so bad.

Hadley was such a tough girl.
She did what she had to do to survive.
But my heart hurt for her.

I am still in shock about a few parts of the book. And I am ready to read the next book in the sereis.

My Review:

Rain and Cassie….. a pretty good story.
We learned about Cassie in a previous book. She is the friend of another MC’s old lady.

Cassie is in Alaska to work with people in need. Alaska has a lot of people who are in tough times.

Rain is the VP of the local MC. When an MC brother calls and asks him to check up on Cassie for him, he can’t say no.

What he doesn’t expect it that he would be drawn to Cassie like he had never been drawn to anyone before.

I will say as soon as I learned what the bad Russian men did, especially one particular man….I knew what was going to happen in the book.
I am not saying that was a bad thing, but I just kept waiting the entire time for it to happen.
But can Rain keep Cassie safe?

This book was pretty good. Like I said above, I was about to predict the storyline. But I still enjoyed the story.

What did I just read?!?!?!

Jordan and Sydney were WOW!

Jordan, the adopted Becker, but no one saw him that way. The high school football coach and teacher just trying to have another winning football season.

Sydney, the police chief’s ex-wife, is trying to find her way now that her marriage is over. Doing what she needs to do to take care of her daughter.

“Sydney Kelly was not the kind of woman you could pass by without noticing – she never had been”

When Sydney gets a job as the football teams’ new trainer, everything changes.

Jordan and Sydney start out rough, but as time goes, they become close. Very close.

But they have obstacles in their way.

They work tighter and Sydney does not want to be seen in a bad light.

Sydney’s ex-husband who still feel like he “owns” her.

And a few other things.

What will happen when things come crashing down around both of them?

Will they be there for each other or will it all be too much?

This story…… HOLY PLOT TWIST!!!!!!!! I did not see that coming what so ever!!!!

I loved the realness both characters had. I loved that they had flaws. That they were real people.

I am sad this series is over. I am going to miss the Becker brothers so much. This family had amazing stories and amazing love.

My Review:

Banks and Candy… what a story!

I was in tears by chapter 3.

I was really mad at Lani. Like really mad. But it was worth it.

Banks and Candy’s story begins in high school.

Banks makes a decision that comes with consequences. Consequences he doesn’t know about until he is an adult. But Banks also goes who his own terrible ordeal that same night.

“My worst night had also been his work night, and his worst night ever trumped mine a thousand-fold”

Candy never imagined she would go though what she went through. But she did. And barely survived it. Now she is trying to get her life on track as an adult. Working and taking care of her dad means having pretty much 2 full time jobs. But she is doing it.

When Candy starts working with Desi, she realizes that she will have to deal with Banks. Someone she has stayed away from for years.

“I’m broken. Nobody wants the broken thing.” I beg to differ. I wanted the broken things. I wanted her.

Banks and Candy have a lot of history to work through but in the end, it will make them stronger.

I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the ride to get to the HEA.

But damn… get your tissues ready because you will need them.

My Review:

I enjoyed this book.

Ashe and Ford had a love/hate relationship. They had had one for years. Everyone could see it but them.

Ashe had always done what ever she could do to help ford. Even if that meant cheating for him on tests in high school so he would pass.

As they grew, their love/hate grew too.

When a bet happened, Ashe knew she could not turn it down. She could not let Ford win.

But that bet turned into more.

More arguing. More time together. More hate. But also more love.

But can that love overcome the years of hate? Can that love overcome the obstacles that they will be faced with?

I am going to be honest and say that in the beginning of this book, I was not a fan of Ashe. Not at all. Something about her just did not sit well with me. With that being said, I was happy with how her character developed. And by the end of the book, I did like her.

I did like Ford. I felt he was sweet and charming, but also cunning and funny.

Overall….

It was a good story. Really good character development. Some good storylines. But there is still a mystery to be solved and some loose ends to tie up in the next few books.

My Review:

Beckett and Sara are quick insta-love story.
Beckett saves Sara from a terrible double date. And there is an instant connection.
But her life is a mess and she doesn’t want to bring Beckett into her mess.
But he does not care and he wants to be with her and help.
It was a sweet, very quick read.

My Review:

Griffin and Makayla have a very short and sweet novella.
It’s pretty much love at first sight. There is a bit of miscommunication but once that’s settled, it’s flowers and sunshine.
Overall, a sweet very short read.

My Review:

Chase and Leah are another short, sweet story.
Chase is a fireman who responds to a fire at an office building. When he find someone trapped inside, he realizes it is the girl from the grocery store that caught his eye.
Leah knows that this hot fireman is the one she wants. Why? She has not idea.
Chase and Leah have a good, sweet story.

My Review:

Another short, sweet read.
Erin’s cat gets stuck in a tree and she calls the first department to get it out. (Cat in a tree… what a classic fire call)
Walker is a fireman and drew the short straw when it came to the cat in a tree call.
But he is glad he did.
Erin and Walker have an instant connection.
It was a sweet, quick story.

My Review:

Petro and Kinsey have a quick story.

Petro is out of revenge.
Alvin owe’s Petro money. And Petro is going to get his money.
How?
Kidnap his daughter and use her for leverage.
What he doesn’t realize is that everything is not what it seems.

Kinsey is at rock bottom.
Her mom is dead and her dad os MIA.

When she wakes up in a strangers bed, she thinks it was just a drunkin one night stand.

When she realizes that it isn’t a one night stand, everything changes.

Kinsey is not the person Petro though she was. She is feisty. Mouthy. And he’s falling in love with her.

But will he be able to save her with someone else is after her?

This was a good read.
Some fighting.
Some sex.
Some love.

Overall, a good read.

My Review:

I was a bit surprised I enjoyed this book as much as I did.

This book is told from two main POV’s and then a few others along the way.

Zell has been locked in a penthouse for years. Once she turned 12, she never went outside again. Her mom said it was for her safety.

Zell know nothing else but the life she has. She knows things aren’t right but there is nothing she can do about it. She lives with other girls, older girls, but she doesn’t exactly know what they do.

Frankie wants nothing to do with the life his dad leads. He wants to move away and go to college. He wants a life that does not involve crime and drugs.

Frankie and Zell (now 17) meet when he is brought to the penthouse Zell lives in. He is told to choose a girl for his 18th birthday. He choose Zell. But he is not like the other men who come into the penthouse.

Frankie and Zell make a connection and he is determined to save her.

But can he? He is only 18. His dad is powerful. Can he do it?

This was a good story. I enjoyed the story line. I enjoyed the plot. I enjoyed the plot twist.

My Review:

Rain and Cassie….. a pretty good story.
We learned about Cassie in a previous book. She is the friend of another MC’s old lady.

Cassie is in Alaska to work with people in need. Alaska has a lot of people who are in tough times.

My Review:

Zoey and Jace –
Jace is late to his friends wedding. When Zoey sees this, she decides to help him act like he has been there all along.
Why?
He’s a hottie.
And then he helps her out.
Another quick, sexy read.

My Review:

Gamble has had a hard life
Her family was killed.
She was kidnapped and abused for years.
When she thought she had gained form freedom, it was pulled out from under her.
The man she loves is now dead and she is the new prez of the MC in Baltimore.
A woman prez? That is unheard of.
But it’s a test. And she knows it.

Hart has been told to more to the Baltimore chapter of the MC.
After laving on bad terms with his old MC, he is hoping to start new.
What he doesn’t realizes is that his new prez was going to be a woman.
One he wants to get to know better and protect.

Gamble has a problem in her MC. She has a rat.
A rat that is getting people killed.

What happens when the rat tells too many secrets?
Will this find out who it is or will Gamble and Hart pay the ultimate price?

This book was okay.
I enjoyed the storyline but I felt there were a few holes here and there. A few questions that were unanswered and some strings that were left loose.

My Review:

Killian and Nicole have a story that I feel could have been so much more.
Killian is out to kidnap Leonard Keen. To teach him a lesson and then let him free.
Problem?
When he goes to kidnap Leonard, he isn’t there. His daughter Nicole is.
That is a huge problem because while doing his research on Leonard, Killian became obsessed with Nicole.

Once he kidnaps her, things do not go as planned.
She is not like he thought she would be. And even though she was kidnapped, they have an instant connection.
But someone is after them? Someone keeps finding them and trying to kill them? But Who?

I liked this story. I really did. But I gave it 3 stars because I felt like there was not enough talking and too much sex. I am completely fine with sex in books but there needs to be a balance.

2 stars

My Review:

Ember and Nate…… not my favorite short story so far.
I understand these are instant love stories but this one was just too quick for me.

My Review:

Ughh

This book was set in my state and in a city that is about 10 minutes from me. I instantly liked that.

But the book….. I had some issues with it.
Easton and Wylla Mae are a May/December romance.
I am not against this kind of romance. I have read it many times.
But this one just did not do it for me.
I don’t want to give spoilers but I just never felt that Easton and Wylla Mae had a real connections.
I never felt that they actually had real conversation.

This book just fell short for me.
