Blurb:
There are a few lessons one has to learn for themselves. Then there are the lessons that most people don’t have to learn because it’s just not done.
For instance, most people know instinctively that they shouldn’t crave the mother of their brother’s child.
Bourne Pena isn’t most men.
Bourne does everything he can to fight the attraction he feels for Delanie, but in the end, his refusal to go there almost ends up costing him his life.
***
Delanie Davidsdottir just wanted to forget. One night, she wanted to feel like a normal human being.
That one night changes her life and gives her a daughter that becomes her heart and soul. From that point forward, she does her level best to keep her head on straight and not make any more mistakes.
And falling for her child’s father’s twin brother—say that three times fast— would be a mistake. Not only is he Trouble with a capital T, he’s also a SWAT officer that puts his life on the line every single day.
She can’t take another loss like the one she suffered once before.
Then again, Delanie never encountered a man like Bourne Pena before, either.
My Review: 4 stars
“My brother’s baby mama.”
Time for twin 2 and twin 2. (Yes… it is a messed up situation)
Bourne and Delanie… I needed their story after book 6.
We knew going into this book that there was going to be some kind of relationship between Bourne and Delanie. You could feel the tension in the last book.
Bourne and Delanie have always had tension between them. With Delanie having a child with Booth, Bourne’s brother (it is a very complicated story), they knew that they could never be together.
This book starts with a “bang”. And more “banging” happens.
Multiple different things happen that make them end up in situations together. But each of these situations make them grow closer and closer. But Bourne and Delanie know that what they could have would not be easy or simple.
Their love/hate is what really made the book. They wanted each other so much it mad them hate each other because they were never honest with each other.
I am really happy these books were back to back. I think you needed to do it that way because I feel that book 6 and 7 are so closely tied to each other. I do like that how book 6 and 7 are set at the same time so the stories overlapped. We got to see some stuff from book 6 in a different light in this book.
Bourne and Delanie had the kind of romance that people read about and want. They loved hard and fast. Sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad. But they always came back to love.

I love the review! I don’t usually read romance/erotica, but when I do – it’s this type of book I need 🙂
